Wired & SVN

As soon as I have some time (I have another useless exam to do) I'll surely try Wired, seems a very cool app and I like to use Gnome.

Some days ago I started using TortoiseSVN to keep all my sources updated and synchronized between my laptop and my 2 PC. It's perfect! I can put a Subversion repository on a shared folder over my LAN and it works well.

SVN is awesome, It's just that setting up FireDeamon can be a hassle and apperently FireDeamon has some security vunrablities....

SVN kicks CVS's ass 12 love !!!

Im hoping some really nice person is going to create a free subversion repository on the net some time soon.....

Ankh is a Visual Studio.NET plugin allowing you all the Subversion functionality from inside the Development Enviroment. At first there were a few nasty bugs but they have been resolved and Now it's been working like a dream:

How about a SharpeDevelope plugin to do this. If only i had more time...

Fortunately I don't need to use any daemons: I simply mount the shared drive and use the repository as it was in the local filesystem.
About free SVN: I found (but didn't tryed) www.cvsdude.org it's a little limited but it's really free.
Time is never enough!
